THE PROCESS (Flake or Texture)

Step #1 Surface Preparation

Surface preparation is the foundational step in achieving a high-quality fl oor coating. This

process begins with concrete restoration, where we use shot blasting or diamond grinding

to meet CSP 3+ standards. We prepare and fi ll surface imperfections to ensure a crack-free

surface and grind down any high spots. Residual dust is then removed, and the fl oor is

prepared for the vapor barrier coat, creating a consistent foundation for the system. This

meticulous preparation ensures a smooth, even surface ready for the next stages of coating.

Step #2 Base Coat and Vapor Barrier Primer E4E-VBP

The next step involves application of the vapor barrier primer and base coat. We start

by trimming the outside edges and sealing concrete joints. The vapor barrier primer is

designed to keep moisture out, enhancing the longevity of your custom fl oor. This layer is

crucial for ensuring a durable and long-lasting fl oor coating. The base coat is then applied

and forms a durable bond with the vapor barrier primer, maintaining adhesion properties

even under extreme conditions.

Step #3 Flake or Texture

Decorative fl ake application is the third step in the process. We broadcast decorative fl ake

into the wet base-coat and allow it to cure. We then scrape the fl oor in a cross-hatch

pattern to eliminate high spots. Any excess fl ake is vacuumed off to ensure a clean surface.

This step adds visual appeal and texture to the fl oor, contributing to its overall aesthetic

and functional qualities.

Step #4 E4E Super Poly Topcoat

The fi nal step in our process is the application of

the polyaspartic topcoat. This specially

formulated, low VOC topcoat off ers

superior

adhesion

properties,

forming a molecular bond with

the surface for years of reliable

performance.

Our

polyaspartic

coatings are high gloss, ultra-

durable, and UV stable, ensuring

the fl oor maintains its appearance

over time. Impact-resistant and

resilient, this coating will not chip,

crack, or fl ake, preserving the gloss

fi nish for years of reliable service in

your garage or workspace.

THE PROCESS (Metallic/Neat System)

Step #1 Surface Preparation

Surface preparation is the foundational step in achieving a high-quality fl oor coating. This

process begins with concrete restoration, where we use shot blasting or diamond grinding

to meet CSP 3+ standards. We grind and fi ll surface cracks to ensure a crack-free surface

and grind down any high spots. Additionally, we remove dust and prep the fl oor for the

epoxy coat with a vapor barrier. This meticulous preparation ensures a smooth and even

surface ready for the next stages of coating.

Step #2 Base Coat and Vapor Barrier Primer E4E-VBP

The next step involves application of the vapor barrier primer. We start by trimming the

outside edges and sealing concrete joints. The vapor barrier primer is designed to keep

moisture out, enhancing the longevity of your custom fl oor. This layer is crucial for ensuring

a durable and long-lasting fl oor coating.

Step #3 Color Coat E4E-100S, E4E-100XR, E4E-RUBIX

For decorative metallic and solid-color epoxy systems, the coating is mixed with either

multiple pigments for a marbled metallic eff ect or a single pigment for a smooth, consistent

fi nish. The coating is applied to the surface and carefully manipulated to achieve the

desired eff ect. This step defi nes the fl oor’s design, adding both visual appeal and functional

performance.

Step #4 E4E Urethane Topcoat

The fi nal step in the process is the application of our high-solids, high-wear urethane topcoat.

This coating provides exceptional abrasion and chemical resistance, fl exibility, and UV

stability, ensuring the fl oor maintains its appearance

and performance for years. Impact-resistant

and resilient, it will not chip, crack,

or fl ake, preserving a fi nish that’s

long-lasting and reliable.
